Preet Chandi: First woman of color to complete solo, unaided trek to South Pole

Preet Chandi, the British Sikh army officer, skied 700 miles in 40 days, braving extreme cold, exhaustion and whiteout conditions. She said she did it, in part, to be a role model to other Asian women and people of color. The World’s Carol Hills has the story.
