Musician and activist Shungudzo fought for her rights, first while growing up in Zimbabwe, and then again when she moved to the US with her family. In her music and poetry, Shungudzo tackles the racist experiences she had while growing up in her 2021 release “It’s a Good Day (…to Fight the System).”
