French troops fire warning shots in Niger

French troops in West Africa fired warning shots on a crowd of protesters as they traveled through the region in a military convoy. The incident left two people dead and 18 injured and it was unclear who was responsible for the deaths. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with French international affairs columnist Pierre Haski about the presence of the troops in the region and the growing resentment toward them.
