Turkish lira in a nosedive 

Turkey’s economy is facing some major hurdles. The Turkish lira hit an all-time low on Tuesday with a 15% plunge. Overall it has lost 45% of its value just this year. There are reports that Turkish customers are flocking to buy iPhones, electronics and other goods as retailers fall behind on price adjustments. Host Marco Werman speaks with Soner Cagaptay, a senior fellow at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, where he is also the director of the Turkish Research Program.
