Tensions rise over Western Sahara

Morocco and Algeria have been uneasy neighbors as both countries lay claim to a vast desert region in northwest Africa. A ceasefire has been in place for decades but recently, Morocco has been making power plays and in August, Algeria cut diplomatic ties.
