Following the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban, European countries, including France, Italy, Spain and Poland, are scrambling to evacuate their citizens, and Afghans who worked with them, from the country. Germany, which had the second-largest military contingent in Afghanistan, behind the US, sent in its first plane last night. The World's Lydia Emmanouilidou spoke with one of the seven people aboard.
