First Afghan interpreters to come to Virginia Army base

The World

The Pentagon announced on Monday that 700 Afghans who worked as interpreters for the US military are being brought to Fort Lee in Virginia along with their 1,800 family members. These Afghans are at the final stages of an arduous process of obtaining a Special Immigrant Visa.
