How activists stopped a coal plant in Ghana

In 2013, the government of Ghana announced plans for the country’s first coal-fired power plant. Environmental activist Chibeze Ezekiel went to work building a diverse grassroots coalition to stop the plant, and he won. He is now the recipient of the Goldman Environmental Prize for his work.
