Concerns over damaged national reputation grow as Tokyo Olympic Games open in Japan

After a year-long postponement, the Tokyo Olympic Games are officially underway. Japan’s tennis star Naomi Osaka served as the final torch bearer and lit the Olympic cauldron at the opening ceremony today.
