Elections in India continued this week despite the massive surge in COVID-19 cases. Politicians including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held rallies and joined large gatherings where many attendees were without masks. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Indian journalist Chhavi Sachdev about the elections and whether or not there might be fallout for India’s ruling party.
