US accuses Huawei of accessing ‘backdoors’ in telecom networks

US officials say Huawei is able to access mobile networks through “backdoors” intended for law enforcement. The revelation, first reported by the Wall Street Journal, is the most specific charge US officials have leveled against the Chinese telecommunications equipment vendor.
