The civil war raging in Sudan is a nightmare for children. At least one child is dying from malnutrition every two hours in Sudan’s Zamzam camp. And, a most-serious hurricane is known as a Category 5. But two scientists have proposed the creation of a Category 6 designation, as climate change supercharges extreme weather events. Also, Pakistan’s parliamentary elections are being held on Thursday. The vote is seen as hugely significant following the sentencing of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in a corruption case that many saw as politically motivated.
