  • The Retro Report documentary team and Quartz have teamed up for a new series, called “What Happens Next.” The project explores how technology will change lives around the world, and today the series premieres its second documentary: “The Future of Work.” Clive Thompson, a journalist who covers technology for Smithsonian Magazine, Wired and New York Times Magazine, is featured in the new doc. He joins us on The Takeaway to discuss the future of work.
  • Today marks 100 years since the Balfour Declaration, a statement from the British government which announced support for a “national home for the Jewish people” in Palestine. We examine the history of the declaration and how it influences conflict today with Ian Black, the author of the new book “Enemies and Neighbors: Arabs and Jews in Palestine and Israel, 1917-2017.”
