In a blow to President Obama’s environmental legacy, the U.S. Supreme Court temporarily blocked the president’s attempt to regulate emissions from coal-fired power plants. 

Challenges from 29 states, along with corporations and industry groups, will still be considered by an appeals court before the case returns to the Supreme Court.
