Today's Geo Quiz takes us underwater. Down 50 fathoms or so.

We're looking for the name of a marine region that lies off the south eastern coast of Newfoundland, Canada. It's part of North America's continental shelf, and it's where the cold waters of the south-bound "Labrador Current" collide with the warm Gulf Stream.

Over the centuries, the region's ocean storms, icebergs, and fog has resulted in thousands of shipwrecks. We'll tell you more about a marine exploration of the region that's underway...but first try and come up with the answer.
